What Makes It Special

A tall opening lined with Mosaic Masonry kiln-fired firebrick with mortared joints, in four colors and stacked or herringbone patterns.

It has a massive smoke dome with no visible smoke shelf, a heavy steel grate with forged andirons, mesh screens, and optional glass doors. Superior backs it with a 20-year limited warranty.

Possible Downsides

• It is a wood fire. You haul and store wood, clean ash, and sweep the chimney.
• Glass doors are sold separately. Superior offers bi-fold glass doors as an option.
