Who It’s For

Put a fireplace on the wall between two rooms and one side gets the fire while the other gets the back of it. In an open plan or a room-divider wall, that feels like half a fireplace. What Makes It Special

The glass is the headline. The Luxuria’s triple-pane glass guard is safe to touch, so there is no mesh safety screen between you and the flames—just an open view of the fire, from either side of the wall.

Above the fire, the included Dynamic Heat Control system keeps wall temperatures down so a TV or artwork can hang directly above the fireplace, and it works without a fan, so the room stays quiet. Finish materials can run right up to the edge of the unit, which is why the Luxuria settles into a wall design instead of interrupting it.

The ember bed and top edge carry multi-colored LED lighting, so the fireplace still glows on a summer evening with the burner off—the look of the fire without the heat.

Possible Downsides

• The firebox comes empty—a media set is a required, separate choice. Logs, glass, rocks, or globes get picked when you order.
• The heat-circulation fan kit is optional, not included. The built-in heat management works without one, but moving warmth to other areas of the house is an add-on.
• It ships set up for natural gas. Running it on propane takes a conversion kit.
