Who It’s For

A wood fire is the reason many people want a fireplace at all. You need one that burns well and looks right in the room. The Ambiance Nectre N65 is for the homeowner who wants real wood heat and the ritual that comes with it. Choose a gas or electric unit and you give up the crackle and the smell of a wood fire.

What Makes It Special

The N65 has a steel baffle, brick retainer, and firebrick lining for more thermal mass and longer heat retention.

A wood storage box keeps fuel at hand, and logs stack vertically for an easy load and an interesting flame. Nectre stoves carry a standard 10-year warranty.

Possible Downsides

• It is a wood fire. You load it, tend it, and carry out the ash.

If you want a real wood fire that is also a showpiece, the Ambiance Nectre N65 is the right decision. The room you used to pass through becomes the one everyone settles into.
