An old fireplace that never gets lit is a dark hole in the wall, and a gas insert means a line and a liner. You need a fire that fills the opening and plugs in. The Amantii Traditional Lumina insert 30 with 4-sided trim is for the home with an existing fireplace opening that fits the 30-inch Traditional insert. Choose it for the fire you see and warmth in the room; it is supplemental heat.

What Makes It Special

The insert recesses fully or semi-flush mounts in the opening; semi-flush installs use the Traditional three- or four-sided surround, and this one includes the 4-sided trim. Heating is front-flow with hidden venting.

You choose yellow, orange, or red flames and adjust their brightness and speed separately, with ember-bed colors that can auto-mix. Amantii’s app connects over Wi-Fi, so you can set the flame, the heat, and a schedule from your phone, and the included thermostatic remote does the same from the couch. The heater warms up to 500 square feet, and the flames run with the heat off.

It comes with a 12-piece oak log set, vermiculite, clear fire glass, the grate, the remote, and the 4-sided trim. Amantii backs it with a two-year warranty and approves it for outdoor installs when its guidelines are followed.
